Customer Requirements
The requirement was to develop a WAP application through which customers can bye airline tickets.
Our Solutions
Users access this application from his mobile browser by the URL.
If any request comes to the application, it will identify the user by the mobile no.
If it is a registered mobile no, application directly goes to the welcome page from where one can book the ticket.
If the mobile no got is not a registered, application redirects the user to registration screen. Once user registered by entering his/her details, he /she will be directed to welcome screen.
Welcome screen will have option to start booking a new ticket and also an option to start from last incomplete step when he/she accessed the application.
Book New Ticket
To book a new ticket user has to select the source and destination of his journey from the list of places given by the application.
After selecting the source and destination user prompted to enter the journey date, journey type(one way / round trip),no of passengers.
Once entering the above information, user prompted to the list of available flights for onwards journey on given date to select. After selecting the onwards flight user prompted to select flight for return journey if he selected round trip.
After selecting the flights, Fare details will be presented to the user for confirmation.
If user confirms he will be prompted to terms and conditions and select the co-passengers from a list. If user wants to add new passengers to travel can add in this screen.
After selecting passengers user will be prompted to complete fare details again for confirmation.
If user confirms, he will be prompted to enter the credit card details for booking the ticket. If the given credit card details are correct application will generate a PNR NO which will be showed in the airport to get the boarding pass.
